Well, I decided on the first project that I would share. When I found the idea for this project, it was perfect. I am a scrapbook paper hoarder, I love the look of giant stacks of 12x12 paper and every time I buy more, I swear to myself that I will use them! Well, I've used maybe 5% of the paper I've acquired, so this craft was thrilling for me! It gave me the opportunity to use up a lot of my scraps and even some of the whole 12x12 pages that I knew I was never going to do anything with.
Materials Needed
Scrapbook Paper Scraps
8 1/2 x 11 Shipping Labels (I use these)
Paper Cutter or Scissors
To Create
Cut your scrapbook paper scraps into 8 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch to 2 inch strips. Peel the backing off of the shipping label and place it sticky side up. Arrange your paper scrap strips on the sticky paper and VOILA! You have made your own "new" scrapbook paper that can be used for card making or making new designs in a scrapbook. I thread mine into my Silhouette machine and create shapes that have a fun and unique look.
